Group things that go together
In the past, Time & Chaos has allowed you to Filter your display to show just
one group of items, then another, then another, then back to everything mixed
together. While filtering is still available in 6.x, a new way to arrange your
data has been added: Grouping
- Turn Grouping on and off by clicking this button on the toolbar:
- With Grouping, the same data is displayed but it is rearranged alphabetically by group name,
then sorted in our traditional ways (for example, by Priority in the To Do List).
- Drag and Drop an item from one group to another
and you will automatically be editing the group.
- Grouping is available in all three data areas, but we like it best in
the To Do List where we create groups for different Projects each of us work
on.
- The Group field in version 6 is a new name
for the Overlay field in version 5.
