An Alarming development
Time & Chaos now has a new Alarm utility that runs separately from the main
program with version 6. Why is that worthy of special mention?
- Alarm checking begins as soon as your start your PC,
not when you first start Time & Chaos.
- You can get alarms even when Time & Chaos is not running!
- You will only get your own alarms, even if
you are in someone else's database on your network.
- You can check to see when the next alarm is
scheduled to take place.
It's in the System Tray
The System Tray is that special place in Windows next to your clock. It's
usually in the lower right corner of your screen and it is where your
always-running utilities ought to be located.
The Alarm utility symbol looks like this:

You can Right-Click on Alarm utility to get a
popup menu with this:
