Using Android devices with ChaosHost.com

Android users have three ways to use ChaosHost data. These aren't exclusive choices either! You may find that each method has its own advantages and as a ChaosHost user, you are welcome to use any or all of the methods discussed here.

Option 1 - Add an Exchange account to your device

Your Android device has a built-in method for synchronizing with corporate servers. Using our ChaosHost service, you can connect your device to our servers and can sync our Chaos data with your device. This data can then be used by the Contacts, Calendar apps that also came built-in to your device. Click here for Exchange setup instructions for Android devices!

Option 2 - Use apps from Chaos Software

Since Android devices don't run Windows, your device won't run our normal software. As an alternative, we have started to release apps which can be found in the Google Play Store. Visit our Android Products page on ChaosSoftware.com to see the list of what is currently available.

Option 3 - Use our website with Chrome on your device

Our website has a full size version which works great with larger screens and a mobile version which works great with smaller screens. You don't need to install anything or configure anything. You only need your login and password and you're good to go. Open Chrome (or the browser that comes with your device) and visit http:/www.chaoshost.com/ and you're done. [To get fancy, you might bookmark the site or add it to your home screen to make it easier to load again].
