It is very easy for you to backup your data. You can simply choose the Backup Data option after clicking the File menu at the top left of the program.
Backup Data will compress your billing transactions along with the client data and protect them in case of an emergency. The backup file will be named with a .BAK file extension
If you want to bring in data from a Backup, you can use choose the Restore Data option after clicking the File menu at the top left of the program. You can select the information from your backup to "replace" that currently in use.
NOTE: Restoring data always OVERWRITES, or replaces the existing data.
Technical Note: If you also use one of our contact manager applications, it is important to understand that restoring a Backup made by Legal Billing will REPLACE both your billing records 'Legal Billing.*' AND your Contact records 'Contacts.*' from the .BAK file.
