Any information you give to Chaos Software Group, Inc. will be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.

Our Chaos Intellect program is an application allowing you to synchronize mail content with IMAP mail providers and to download mail content from POP3 mail providers. It can also send outgoing messages to SMTP providers.
Chaos Intellect stores your data in a local data folder on your computer or network in your full control.
If you authorize Chaos Intellect to access mail data from Gmail for a Google account, Chaos Intellect will be able to synchronize mail data from Google for this account, including downloading messages from Gmail and moving or deleting emails on Gmail based on changes you make in Chaos Intellect, using the IMAP protocol.
Specific to Gmail accounts, Chaos Intellect's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If you authorize Chaos Intellect to access mail data from other mail providers, Chaos Intellect will be able to retrieve and delete messages from your mail provider's mail servers, based on changes you make in Chaos Intellect.
The Chaos Intellect program does not send any mail data to our own servers. All email communication is directly between your Windows computer and your mail provider's servers only. Any data received from your mail provider is stored directly in your local data folder on your computer or network.
You can remove a mail account from Chaos Intellect at any time to stop any further IMAP or POP3 access to your mail account thus denying any access to your account to make further changes.
